What's up today?‎ > ‎

The good weather has arrived.

Just walked outside. It is 75 degrees, the breeze is blowing, the air is clean and deep blue. The clouds are here and there but not thick, and so white they can blind you. The air is warm and soft with a little moisture from the fields all around, and the breezes cause the air to caress your skin like a lover.

Driving home through the fields you see green, everywhere you look.... except the brown of deer, turkey, and the one moose that hides out in the valley by my property. We are expected to get to 80 degrees today. In the evening it gets cool again, down into the 50's, and sitting outside on the drive in front of the bus I can sip my tea in a lawn chair, and look across the valley where I can see the lake three miles away through a notch in the hills, as the dogs play on the 5 acres closest to where the bus is parked.

THIS is the reason I moved here.....

Now.... if only I could do it without sneezing. Because all the pent up growing in the plants around us has burst out in the last week with a vengeance. Still..... I would rather have honest grass allergies bothering my sinuses, than grey/brown smog killing my lungs.
